SMS messages sent via ReturnLoop are service-related communications triggered by a completed patient appointment. They are not promotional broadcast marketing campaigns. ReturnLoop operates in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003.

All messages include a clear opt-out instruction (Reply STOP). Opt-out requests are honoured immediately and the patient's number is suppressed from future messages.

Dental practices using ReturnLoop are responsible for ensuring they have a valid lawful basis for sending SMS communications to their patients, including obtaining appropriate consent where required.

Booking Butler Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as required under UK data protection law. Our ICO registration covers the processing activities carried out in connection with the ReturnLoop service.

Dental practices using ReturnLoop act as data controllers. Booking Butler Ltd acts as the data processor. By accepting our Terms & Conditions, dental practices enter into a data processing agreement with Booking Butler Ltd, which sets out the obligations of each party under UK GDPR Article 28.

ReturnLoop uses essential cookies only — those strictly necessary for the service to function (session management and authentication). We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies without your consent.
